　　 How many years have you worked in the industry? What does this industry look like in your mind?

　　 Xu Yingxin At present, China's textile and clothing exports account for one-third of the world's textile exports. There are investments and cooperation in more than 100 countries and regions, and also cover the entire industrial chain, from raw materials, equipment to final products.

　　 I have been working in textile and garment industry for 36 years since I graduated from university in 1985. After 36 years of textile industry experience, on the one hand, I have witnessed the institutional changes of the Ministry of textile industry, China Textile Federation, State Textile Industry Bureau and China Textile Industry Federation. On the other hand, I have witnessed the great changes of China's textile industry from small to large and from weak to strong.

　　 What important changes have taken place in the industry? What has been achieved?

　　 Xu Yingxin In the 21st century, with China's accession to the WTO and the cancellation of export quotas, China's textile and garment industry has entered a period of rapid development, which not only meets the needs of the domestic market, but also achieves a leap from 10 billion US dollars to 100 billion US dollars. At present, China's textile and clothing exports account for one third of the world's textile exports.

　　 China's textile and garment enterprises have also achieved fruitful results in their going global. Since the "belt and road" initiative was put forward, the pace of Chinese textile enterprises' going out has been significantly accelerated. At present, there are investments and cooperation in more than 100 countries and regions, covering the entire industrial chain, from raw materials, equipment to final products.

　　 As an exhibition platform for trade exchanges, it has achieved leapfrog development in more than 30 years. It not only builds a business integration platform for the international upstream and downstream industrial chain, but also takes the lead in terms of exhibition scale and trade effect.

　　 What new development opportunities do you think China's textile industry has?

　　 Xu Yingxin At the time of the centenary of the CPC, under the strong leadership of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the CPC Central Committee, the first centenary goal has been achieved, the journey to realize the second centenary goal has begun, and the construction of a powerful textile industry has entered a new stage.

　　 Standing at the historical juncture of the two centenary goals, the curtain of the 14th five year plan has been opened.

　　 We should base on the new development pattern, focus on the new orientation of the industry, take the "development outline of the 14th five year plan" of the textile industry as the action guide, comprehensively promote the forging long plate to make up for the weak plate, and concentrate on the key technology breakthrough, scientific and technological innovation, fashion brand construction and other aspects to achieve new achievements.
